Pineapple Almond Smoothie

A creamy pineapple smoothie made with almond milk and almond butter, or with blanched almonds ground to a fine powder first. Frozen pineapple makes it thick and cold on its own; with fresh pineapple, add a few ice cubes. Yogurt and honey or maple syrup are optional. Start the blender on low and finish on high until it is smooth, then serve right away.
