Method

    Roast ¼ cup makhana on low flame until crunchy.

    Grind ¼ cup almonds to a fine powder. Set aside.

    Grind roasted makhana to a powder. Set aside.

    In a mixing bowl, take ⅓ cup melted ghee and ¼ cup powdered sugar. Mix well.

    Add makhana powder, almond powder, 2 tbsp rajgira flour, ½ tsp cardamom powder, and 1 tsp dried rose petals. Mix well.

    Add 2-3 tbsp milk little by little to form a dough.

    Shape into round cookies. Place on a baking tray lined with paper.

    Brush lightly with milk. Garnish with crushed pistachios and dry fruit pieces.

    Preheat oven at 170°C.

    Bake at 170°C for 12-15 minutes. Check after 10 minutes.

    Cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
